Gary Homec, DVM

A native of Wyoming, Dr. Gary L. Homec earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming in Laramie. He then pursued his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, graduating in 1978.

Following his graduation, Dr. Homec relocated to Palm Desert, California, with his family. He began his practice in Rancho Mirage before establishing Valley Animal Medical Center in Indio, California, where he served the Coachella Valley for 35 years. After selling his practice, he joined Carter Animal Hospital and continues to contribute to the growth of veterinary medicine in the region.

Dr. Homec's professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. Outside of his professional life, he stays active as a father and grandfather.
